A Full Moon happens when the Sun is opposite the Moon.

This highlights the polarities (opposing forces) in our lives.

These polarities are of an emotional, physical and spiritual nature.  It can be one area or all three, and each Full Moon will feel different based on the sign and planetary aspects surrounding the Moon.

Awareness and emotion reach their peak and are heightened around Full Moons.  This is why we feel more edgy and anxious around these times, sometimes not even being able to sleep.

While everyone feels the Full Moon energy, the intensity and circumstances will vary for you based upon your personal astrology.

The Moon rules our subconscious, the raw emotions that lurk underneath the surface.

Everything comes to a head under this energy.  There is a tug of war between head and heart, ego and soul.

The Sun is in the sign of Libra (Air) while the Moon sits opposite the sky in the sign of Aries (Fire).

Those with strong cardinal placements (Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn) by Sun, Moon or Rising sign especially, will feel this Full Moon the strongest. More significantly, if you have any of these placements around 14°-18°.

Aries is the sign of the self, Libra is the sign of the other. Aries speaks to the way we honor and care for ourselves, the way we take action on our own behalf.

The shadow to Aries energy is selfishness, sometimes to a fault.

Libra is the sign of the other, the complete opposite of Aries.

Libra speaks to the way we honor the relationships in our lives, the connections. Negotiations and contracts are highlighted here, along with balance and fairness, impartiality and equality. These are all traits of the zodiac sign Libra.

Where Aries can be selfish, Libra can be selfless.

The shadow to Libra energy is selflessness, to our own detriment.

We must strike the balance between these energies in order to harmonize, to thrive.

After all, both selfishness and selflessness have their place!

Influenced by Chiron (the wounded healer) and Venus (the planet that rules connection, beauty, money and pleasure), there is a strong emphasis on healing around this Full Moon.

Under this energy, the power dynamics in all relationships will become crystal clear to us. The way we take action, the way we do not. Where we are irritated with ourselves, and the others in our lives.

Important to note that this is also the last Full Moon before the Eclipses.

This means that anything unresolved, will likely be a part of the Eclipse story line for you.

Profound truths can become evident, relationship dynamics may unravel.

Trust the process, it is all a part of your soul plan.

Remember, Aries asks us to be our authentic selves, to shine as an individual. If there is something holding us back from doing so, we are going to feel the soul call to course correct.

Aries teaches us where we must be our own agent. Libra shows us where we may be sacrificing too much for others, or where it would serve us well to give a little more to others.

Chiron and Venus activating this Full Moon will most definitely show us how some emotional wounds might still be influencing us. In some cases, even preventing us from moving forward, from shining our light.
