Saturday 9/28 2:26 PM we experience a hopeful New Moon in the balanced air sign of Libra.

A New Moon marks the beginning of the lunar cycle, the movement of the moon through its different phases.

New Moons are a time of new beginnings.  The beginning of a new cycle, a time to initiate plans and projects, get things moving, a fresh start.  

Abundance surrounds this energy.

New Moons are auspicious times filled with promise and opportunity.

The Sun aligns with the Moon in the sky when it’s a New Moon meaning, that they are in the same sign –Libra.

Under this New Moon energy, the emphasis is on our closest relationships and partnerships.

This sign rules over the 7th (seventh) house in astrology, the section of life that focuses on partnerships both business and personal, marriage.

Libra is the sign that promotes diplomacy and equality above all else.  Anything less at this time will simply not be tolerated.

We look to the ways our relationships can be out of balance.

Ask yourself under this New Moon:

Do I feel that I receive what I deserve?

Am I feeling appreciated, supported, heard and respected?

Do I treat others the way I wish to be treated? 

Am I able to be diplomatic and objective?  Am I able to see the others side?

Under the element of air Libra is a sign that is intellectual, able to detach when need be and weigh all sides.  This sign is represented by the scales after all.

This is the only sign that is not represented by an animal/person, rather an inanimate object.

Partnership takes two.  Balance.  Fairness.  Impartiality.  That is what the New Moon demands and if this has been missing?  We seek to set karma straight, to restore harmony mostly for ourselves, in whatever ways this takes form.

We are all here for a purpose and one of the main desires in life for everyone is connection.

True, authentic and genuine connections with people that see us, that hear us, and most importantly that feel us.

Anything less can and should not be tolerated.

Relationships can bend at this time, perhaps even break when the strength is tested.

Other relationships can flourish under this energy as we work together.  Together is the key word: partnership.

Sadly though, there are times when some need to be released.  When the contract has expired.  This is Libra.

Mostly though, this is a positive energy.

Faith can and will be tested, but then restored.
