12/29 10:28 pm est, we will experience our final Full Moon of the year.
Falling at 8 degrees of Cancer, this Moon calls us to go in to our shell and reflect, much like the signs symbol, the crab.
A Full Moon happens when the Sun is opposite the Moon.
This highlights the polarities (opposing forces) in our lives.
These polarities are of an emotional, physical and spiritual nature. It can be one area or all three, and each Full Moon will feel different based on the sign and planetary aspects surrounding the Moon.
Awareness and emotion reach their peak and are heightened around Full Moons. This is why we feel more edgy and anxious around these times, sometimes not even being able to sleep.
The Moon rules our subconscious, the raw emotions that lurk underneath the surface.
Everything comes to a head under this energy. There is a tug of war between head and heart.
The Sun is in Capricorn (Earth) while the Moon is in the opposite sign of Cancer (Water).
Capricorn is our public life where is Cancer is our private life, Capricorn is external where Cancer energy is internal.
We are thinking a lot about what the definition of ‘home’ should be….and home is not only a place, it’s a feeling.
This Full Moon is most certainly providing us with all the feels!
Taking residency in the sensitive sign of the crab this Moon has us yearning for stability, craving emotional and physical comfort and support.
Our higher awareness, our intuition is kicked up and in high gear. Pay attention to all of these thoughts and ideas, the feelings and impressions that are present with this energy.
With a helpful aspect to the planet of awakening and change, Uranus, we can feel a jolt of inspiration to move forward or a shocking revelation could come to light. This will likely be for the better.
Moon Square Chiron means our wounds are highlighted, crying is not uncommon as well as insomnia so take care of yourself, take care of your heart.
It is ok to say no, to rest if that is what you are being guided to do. Chiron present with this Full Moon wants us to feel, deal and ultimately heal.
Things still appear to be a bit foggy with Neptune’s influence present, so please stay mindful and remember: not all that glitters is gold.
On the flip side of the Neptunian daze, it can be quite creative and poetic, romantic and ideal. It is up to you to decide which way these energies will take you.
All in all, 2021 will be a year of authenticity.
Release what no longer serves your soul.
Know that you are good enough, wise enough, strong enough.
