Today, Friday 11/23 as of 12:39 AM EST, we have a very potent Full Moon in the sign of the twins- versatile and communicative Gemini.

Anything goes!  Emotions are all over the place as we scramble between our heads (hello Mercury Retrograde) and our hearts (Moon).

Testy Testy, we may be!

On the bright side, Mercury is also conjunct planet Jupiter, which really helps put the pieces together for us in our minds.  A bigger picture emerges, we gain a bit of clarity amongst the flurry of energy.

So, why are Full Moons so impactful?

Full Moons are a time where the Sun is literally opposite the Moon in the sky.  This highlights the polarities in our lives, and we may feel a tug-of-war between our head and our hearts.

Spiritually the Sun represents our body, our ego, while the Moon represents our soul, our inner-nature.

When the Moon is full, there are literal surges of energy, energy that can sometimes hit us like a ton of bricks, and take us down when we least expect it.  Think about crying for no apparent reason, disrupted sleep patterns, irritability, and even extreme giddiness.

The flavor changes month to month dependent on the signs of the Sun and Moon, and the planetary aspects surrounding the lunation.

One thing always remains the same : Full Moons are a time of culmination and release.

The Moon rules the subconscious, that which is concealed beneath the surface.  Everything comes up under Full Moon energy.

This Full Moon is at 0 degrees of Gemini, the very beginning of the sign which makes it that much more impactful.  This energy is electric!

Gemini is the sign of communication.  Mercury , Geminis ruler, is the planet of communication and it is retrograde in its opposite sign of Sagittarius right now.  This highlights the need to really watch your thoughts, watch your words!

There could be a major disconnect as to what we are thinking we are saying versus what others are actually hearing.  Be very careful making statements, making points.

Sometimes it is better to just stay silent rather than prove you are right- this is the theme of the next two weeks.

This Full Moon is making a square (frictional aspect) to planet Mars, really heating things up and adding a combative and competitive edge to the energy.

Mars is fire and the Moon is emotion- digest that.  Channel your energy properly if you feel you might go off the edge a bit.  Handle your frustrations in a controlled manner so that things do not get out of hand.

Remember, Gemini is represented by the Twins, and the keyword for this sign is duality, two.

It is ok to not ‘pick a lane’ right now, it is ok to feel torn.  Through these feelings, eventually your soul will call you to where you need to be.

While Gemini (air) asks us to stay in our heads and analyze, figure it out, the Sun in Sagittarius (fire) asks is to go into our heart.

There’s the duality, but there’s the answer.

Where the mind can make you feel crazy, is where your heart will never lie.  Always trust that and the puzzle pieces come together.

Under this Full Moon energy, release that which no longer serves you.  Get into a quiet space, make a list and then burn it and send it out into the universe.
