Our Last Full Moon Of The Year- In The Sign Of Homey And Sensitive Cancer

Tomorrow, 12/22 as of 12:48 PM we will experience our final Full Moon of the year in the sign of the home and the heart, Cancer.

This energy is extra sensitive and emotional, but mostly in loving and supportive ways.  There is no place like home for the holidays , and wherever home is for you is where you will want to be.

This is a very auspicious Full Moon, and right at the heels of the Winter Solstice; a time of deep renewal, regeneration and self-reflection.

While all Full Moons bring in amplified emotions and energy, the flavor and intensity always changes dependent upon the sign it falls in, and the planetary aspects surrounding it.  Just like the Moon changes signs and positions so does the universal vibe and energy.

Full Moons are a time where the Sun is literally opposite the Moon in the sky.  This highlights the polarities in our lives, and we may feel a tug-of-war between our head and our hearts.

Spiritually the Sun represents our body, our ego, while the Moon represents our soul, our inner-nature.

The Moon rules the subconscious, that which is concealed beneath the surface.  Everything comes up under Full Moon energy.

The Sun shifts into Capricorn on the same day, and this Full Moon is in the opposite sign of Cancer.  We are experiencing a nice Earth (Capricorn) and Water (Cancer) polarity.  While yes it is an emotional time (Cancer), we are able to, for the most part, not get swept away by it and remain grounded (Capricorn).

We also have only one major planetary aspect to this Full Moon, and it a beautiful and supportive trine- to Uranus!  The planet of great awakenings and unexpected changes.

Expect the unexpected, and in the most beautiful way possible.  You may just get jolted in the heart, and it will be just what you need.

There is quite the emphasis right now on the work-home life balance.  Wherever there is a deficit, we look for solutions to bring it back to where we feel safe.

Full Moons are always a time of culmination and release, and as this is the last one of the year, be sure to set those intentions for moving forward into 2019 and write down that which you wish to release.

Remain open-hearted- you never know what kind of magic this Moon will bring!  It’s a powerful one.  *If this migraine lets up enough and I begin to feel human, I will try and record a video for this energy.  There is a lot more to it.

Happy Holidays!

Peace & Love,

Lisa
