With all of the chaos going on outside of us , for a moment let us focus on some potential good and positivity.

On March 2, 2022 12:35 PM EST we have a magical, mystical, and manifesting dreamy New Moon in sensitive & compassionate Pisces. I have said it before and will say it again, I feel that this is THE nicest, most auspicious New Moon of the year.

Let’s first talk about buoyant planet Jupiter, as he is center stage with this New Moon.

Jupiter moved into Pisces back at the end of December. This is significant as Jupiter is in his exaltation in Pisces, and quite happy and expansive here. *Check your chart to see where Jupiter is transiting, or watch this video to get that info and more.

Neptune, the co-ruler of Pisces is also at home in this sign. These two are getting closer and closer to an exact alignment in April, but we are feeling its influence already (more on that soon).

What this indicates (amongst many things), is increased intuition and much more colorful dreams. Water may feature prominently in the dream space with this planetary alignment. If you don’t already keep a dream journal, now would be a good time to start!

The New Moon takes place on Wednesday 3/2 at 12:35 PM EST.

A New Moon marks the beginning of the lunar cycle, the movement of the moon through its different phases.

New Moons are a time of new beginnings.  The beginning of a new cycle, a time to initiate plans and projects, get things moving, a fresh start. 

Abundance surrounds this energy.

New Moons are auspicious times filled with promise and opportunity.

The Sun aligns with the Moon in the sky when it’s a New Moon meaning, that they are in the same sign –Pisces.

Pisces is a sensitive and compassionate water sign. Pisces is the dreamer, the poet, the creative, the intuitive one. Pisces feels their way through life.

The downside to this energy is that we are much more tuned in to the collective energy, especially the more energetically sensitive you are.

There is the potential to become a little more unrealistic and ungrounded. Remember: Pisces symbol is two fish swimming in different directions! This is the shadow side to the mutable energy of Pisces, we can feel like those fish, floundering.

We also must be mindful to not delude ourselves with the notion that nothing is wrong. While dreaming of a better way can be positive, we must also remain realistic.

This is still the ‘make a wish’ New Moon as lucky and benevolent Jupiter is sitting close by, almost exact.

Even if you have never used New Moon energy to set intentions, this would be a great time to start. All you need is some quiet time for contemplation , a piece of paper or your journal, and thoughtfulness

If you work with crystals, Citrine would be an amazing one to use for abundance. Green Aventurine for the heart chakra, to assist with bringing more love into relationship to self, and with others. Blue Lace Agate to assist with all of your communications. *These are just my suggestions, but really any crystals you are drawn to (and have) will work, as long as your intention is clear!
