Today 9/9 as of 2:01 PM EST, we have a productive and positively charged New Moon in the sign of efficiency and productivity, the sign of Virgo.
New Moons represent new beginnings.
A New Moon marks the beginning of the lunar cycle, the movement of the moon through its different phases.
It is also a time of initiation, fresh energy and manifestation. It is a great time for a new start, a time to begin projects of all kinds.
The Sun aligns with the Moon in the sky when it’s a New Moon.
Both the Sun and the Moon are in the sign of Virgo right now and Virgo rules the 6th house in Astrology. The 6th house rules our day to day habits and routines, our health and our service to the world.
Under this New Moon/Virgo energy, we strive to better these areas of our lives.
We look for ways to implement stronger and more effective ways of doing things, and we desire to get everything in working order.
Practical Virgo craves organization.
Virgo will take anything and make it the best it can be.
There is a bit of a perfectionist inside of every Virgo.
This New Moon is no different. We feel more serious, more motivated.
As Virgo is ruled by planet Mercury, and Mercury rules the nervous system, some may be experiencing a surge of unexplained anxiety, nervous energy and/or stomach distress.
The more sensitive you are to energy, and if you are a Virgo or have Virgo energy in your birth chart, you will likely feel this energy stronger.
But it’s a great time to make positive changes that will benefit long-term.
