The Aries New Moon takes place 3/24 as of 5:28 am, EST.

This is our first new moon of the year.  The solar year, the astrological year.  Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and begins the next trip around the sun for each sign.

A New Moon marks the beginning of the lunar cycle, the movement of the moon through its different phases.

New Moons are a time of new beginnings.  The beginning of a new cycle, a time to initiate plans and projects, get things moving, a fresh start.  

Abundance surrounds this energy.

New Moons are auspicious times filled with promise and opportunity.

The Sun aligns with the Moon in the sky when it’s a New Moon meaning, that they are in the same sign –Aries.

As the 1st fire sign and the first sign of the zodiac, Aries is known to blaze the trail, to set the stage for the future with courage and tenacity.

This time will be no different, but we must blaze the trail in different ways.  We must reset, we must restructure, we isolate and then we recalibrate.

As the Ram is this signs symbol, they are known to run full speed ahead despite any and all obstacles.

We are coming up against obstacles at this time for sure, both collectively and individually as we navigate unfamiliar terrain.  This soon may become ‘our new normal’.

Saturn has also shifted into Aquarius as of 3/21 , after spending the past 2 & 1/2 years in Capricorn.

Saturn is structure, it is restrictions, the confines in which we operate. 

Capricorn rules the government, and while Saturn has been there for the past three years?  Outmoded structures regarding leadership have definitely been highlighted, exposed, torn down, reworked.

Now in Aquarius, we learn how we must restructure as a collective. 

Aquarius is humanitarian, all about the group.  Group consciousness and what is good for all.

Looking out for our fellow man and not allowing ourselves to be led by the masses is what we must focus on.

Maintaining a sense of individuality while as a group, we must adhere to certain rules (saturn).

At this time it becomes more challenging to trust our own instincts,  at a time when we are being told what to do, how to feel, what to believe.

Stay strong and true to your belief system as that is what will get you through.
