New Year๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŒ‘ New Moon

Happy New Year! May 2022 be kind to us all.

As we embark upon a new year, let’s take notice of something positive: 2022 is a Six (6) year in numerology.

Straight from numerology.com :

“The number 6 is the embodiment of the heart. It represents unconditional love and the ability to support, nurture, and heal. It is a powerful force of compassion and empathy and its warm light is a beacon of hope. Its role is to use its heart and soul to be of service to others”.

I don’t know about you….but this sounds good to me! Support? Healing? Compassion? YES to all of that. Factor in Jupiter’s transit now in Pisces? YES. We start the year off with something we truly need: HOPE. FAITH. HEALING.

*If you would like the details on what Jupiter in Pisces represents for us collectively and personally by sign, here’s a video on that.

Before we get to today’s New Moon, allow me to explain the timing of this blog post.

I intended to have this out days ago, prior to the New Year but well…. I was quite focused and busy getting my Channeled Horoscope readings ready for the signs!

They are finally here, and these were a labor of love. I do hope you enjoy!

These readings are for the time period of 12/21/21 (The Winter Solstice) – 3/20/22 ( The Spring Equinox). They are packed full of good info, key dates, and intuitive guidance.

You can find those here.

Today’s New Moon takes place on 1/2 at 1:33 PM ET, 12ยฐ20′ of Capricorn.

A New Moon marks the beginning of the lunar cycle, the movement of the moon through its different phases.

New Moons are a time of new beginnings.  The beginning of a new cycle, a time to initiate plans and projects, get things moving, a fresh start.

Abundance surrounds this energy.

New Moons are auspicious times filled with promise and opportunity. Just like the Moon, we realign and begin anew, a new cycle is born.

The Sun aligns with the Moon in the sky when itโ€™s a New Moon meaning, that they are in the same sign โ€“Capricorn.

Capricorn is an Earth sign ruled by the planet of discipline, hard work and structure, Saturn. Capricorn is also under the modality of Cardinal meaning, they initiate, they get things going.

New Year? New Moon? Hard working Capricorn Energy? Are you feeling motivated yet?

This New Moon is supported by Uranus, the planet of change and innovation. Uranus is the rebel inside us that wants to break us free. Uranus asks us to think outside the box, to be open to change and different ways of doing the old.

Perhaps your intuition is sparked with some creative ideas, an unexpected opportunity arises.

Take note of it all, take advantage of this first New Moon’s energy.

New Moons are always about setting intentions, clearing our minds and hearts for a short while to envision what we would like to bring to fruition.

As this is New Year and a New Moon? What better time than now to create a vision board, to do a manifestation ritual.

A quick and simple ritual you can do which does not entail too much as follows:

Set aside some quiet time for contemplation at some point between the 2nd-4th of January, when this Moon’s energy is the strongest

Cleanse yourself and your space. Take a salt bath or a shower, or simply wash your hands and brush your teeth for fresh energy.

If you use sage, light some and cleanse. Put on some music if you wish, and get a piece of paper or your journal.

Feel free to use my guided chakra mediation here.

This ritual can be as elaborate or as simple as you wish, you set the tone…there is no right or wrong.

If you work with crystals, Citrine is a great one for abundance and creation. Aventurine for good luck and prosperity. Rose Quartz for honoring and healing of the heart…let’s not forget that lovely VENUS is still very retrograde in Capricorn, bringing stuff up for all of us!

Video on that here if you’re interested also with readings by sign.

Write out what you will manifest over the next six months. Say it with conviction, as it is already yours.

Thank the powers that be, the divine, your loved ones in spirit…then put your words away somewhere safe, where you will remember to be reminded to revisit and revise them over the coming months.

Happy New Year, Happy New Moon! Best wishes for a fabulous year ahead โœจ.

Much Love,

Lisa
