Friday 4/19 as of 7:12 AM EST we experience a Full Moon in the sign of balance and partnerships, Libra.

A Full Moon happens when the Sun is opposite the Moon.

This highlights the polarities (opposing forces) in our lives.

These polarities are of an emotional, physical and spiritual nature.  It can be one area or all three, and each Full Moon will feel different based on the sign and planetary aspects surrounding the Moon.

Awareness and emotion reach their peak and are heightened around Full Moons.  This is why we feel more edgy and anxious around these times, sometimes not even being able to sleep.

The Moon rules our subconscious, the raw emotions that lurk underneath the surface.

Everything comes to a head under this energy.  There is a tug of war between head and heart at this time.

Full Moons are about culmination and release.  This is the time where it is wise to allow the emotions to flow through us, and release whatever no longer serves our growth.

This Full Moon is the 2nd one in a row in Libra, with the Sun In Aries. This.Is.Rare.And.A.Big.Deal.

The universe is demanding that we pay attention.

The spotlight is on, you guessed it , partnerships and intimate relationships.  Libra rules the 7th house of marriage/partnerships after all, and this is where the emphasis is placed.

The who, what, where, when and whys of our partnerships.

Are your partnership(s) helping you to be your most authentic self? Are you content, or simply complacent?

Is there room for growth and expansion, both within yourself (Aries), and with the other (Libra)?

For some, this could be an amazing time of self-discovery and joy within our unions.  While for others?  Not so much.

While it may still be a time of self-discovery, it could lead to the parting of the old ways, the old life, the end of an era.  Sometimes, sadly, the need to say goodbye.

Ultimately though, renewal, liberation and balance will be achieved.

We question everything, we feel a lot, and maybe we don’t even know what to do with it all.

Now, since the 7th house is partnerships in general , you could apply this to a business partner I suppose, but in all actuality, I really feel (and the Astrology proves it) that it is our intimate partnerships that are being reassessed.

Keep in mind, this could be about the key partnership for all of us: the partnership we have to ourselves and nothing more.

How do we handle conflict in our lives?  Do we show up, or shy away from our feelings?  Do we express ourselves and our needs, or do we suppress our true feelings?

Remember, it is how you deal with your own truth (Aries) that sets the tone for how you will treat another’s truth and expression (Libra).

Relationships are what make or break us, right?  When we are filled with joy from the inside out, it radiates.

That’s the key, it needs to begin inside.  It’s when we look to the outside for love and validation that it gets sticky.

SO another important question to ask yourself with this Full Moon is are you depending on your relationships to provide all of the fulfillment in your life?  Are you blaming these relationships for lack of fulfillment?

OR are you taking ownership and accountability for your heart and your part?  Your soul?  Where could you afford to make some necessary changes?

Above all else, Libra strives for equality, peace and harmony within relationships.  This is the end goal.

But first, we must master peace and harmony within ourselves, in whichever ways that may be.
