Monday 4/26 at 11:31 PM EST we experience our Full Moon in Scorpio.

7° 6 minutes of Scorpio ♏️ is this Moon.

A Full Moon happens when the Sun is opposite the Moon.

This highlights the polarities (opposing forces) in our lives.

These polarities are of an emotional, physical and spiritual nature.  It can be one area or all three, and each Full Moon will feel different based on the sign and planetary aspects surrounding the Moon.

Awareness and emotion reach their peak and are heightened around Full Moons.  This is why we feel more edgy and anxious around these times, sometimes not even being able to sleep.

The Moon rules our subconscious, the raw emotions that lurk underneath the surface.

Everything comes to a head under this energy.  There is a tug of war between head and heart.

The Sun is in the sign of Taurus (Earth) while the Moon sits opposite the sky in the sign of Scorpio (Water).

The emotions and intensity of the Scorpio energy, are being reflected back to us by our Taurus needs and desires of comfort and security.

The fixed signs are feeling this potent energy the strongest- fixed signs being Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. Also, if any of your other planets/placements fall in the fixed signs, you can and likely are feeling this stronger as well.

Scorpio is a sign that is focused on what is underneath the surface, what needs to be addressed, uncovered, and unpacked. This is not, and does not always feel comfortable.

Ruled by the probing planet Pluto, Scorpio calls us to go inward and truly reflect on what is and is not working. It asks of us that we identify/acknowledge our patterns , habits, obsessions, compulsions- all Pluto’s domain.

Oh, and just to add to the intensity, Pluto is stationing retrograde just moments after this Full Moon (4/27)! This only serves to exaggerate the Scorpio/Pluto themes of degeneration to regeneration, death and rebirth, the old versus the new.

Opposite electrifying, surprising and unsettling Uranus, this Full Moon provides us with jolts of insight and inspirations to make changes. Yes, but we are dealing with Saturn as well so this change may feel restrictive, delayed or blocked altogether. This is temporary.

Trining Mars who is now in the Water sign of Cancer, this Moon can feel more emotional yes, but we are also getting much more clear on our emotions, getting clear on our own energy. What we like ,what we don’t like, what we need to address, what we have been avoiding…over these next eight weeks, this will be a theme while warrior Mars is in the sign of the Crab.

Venus, who rules Taurus, governs our likes and dislikes, what makes us feel good. So again, more emphasis on what feels good and right for us, and also what does not. Venus is very active at this time as well.

Under this Scorpio Full Moon, what has been buried may come alive. This is not to taunt us, rather, it is for recognition and healing. This can come in many different forms, and will be different for everyone. Societal , personal, structural, etc.

Psychological by nature, Scorpio and Pluto pulse beneath the surface, inviting us to do some deep-soul diving.

Intense, profound, revealing, and prophetic- a great time for dream work!
