March of 2023 is coming in like a Lion and just like the old saying goes, hopefully it will go out like a Lamb! Lambs are gentle, aren’t they?

As I’ve said many times, it may feel like 2023 truly begins this month. There is a lot of strong energy, along with two major planetary shifts and as we know:

As above, so below.

We start the month off with a beautiful alignment of the planets Venus and Jupiter. This alignment will occur exactly at 12:22 AM ET on 3/2. Over these next few days leading up to and especially 3/1-3/2, you can catch this beautiful spectacle in the night sky.

In traditional Astrology both Venus and Jupiter are benefics meaning: they are mostly associated with positivity and bounty. Together they seek to impart goodness, expansion, connection and pleasure.

Lining up in the sign of Aries which is the first sign of the zodiac, this brings in an even more heightened energy of going after and receiving, what it is that we desire. This is the perfect ‘make a wish’ energy, great for setting intentions and and keeping your mind focused on the goodness around you. *Bonus: check your birth chart and your transits to identify where this alignment will take place to really make your magic.

On 3/7 we have a powerful Full Moon in Virgo. This Full Moon peaks at 7:40 AM ET, but we will all be feeling the buildup as March begins.

A Full Moon happens when the Sun is opposite the Moon.

This highlights the polarities (opposing forces) in our lives.

These polarities are of an emotional, physical and spiritual nature.  It can be one area or all three, and each Full Moon will feel different based on the sign and planetary aspects surrounding the Moon.

Awareness and emotion reach their peak and are heightened around Full Moons.  This is why we feel more edgy and anxious around these times, sometimes not even being able to sleep.

The Moon rules our subconscious, the raw emotions that lurk underneath the surface.

Everything comes to a head under this energy.  There is a tug of war between head and heart.

The Sun is in the sign of Pisces (Water) while the Moon sits opposite the sky in the sign of Virgo (Earth).

Both Pisces and Virgo are mutable energies, meaning that they are adaptable, flexible and sometimes, scattered. This is how we can feel around this Full Moon.

Positively speaking, Pisces and Virgo both speak to healing, health and service. Virgo comes at this from a more practical, physical way where Pisces comes at this from a more impractical and spiritual way. We seek to balance these energies for wholeness and healing.

Honor all of the emotions that come up for you around these times, as there is a strong emphasis on healing and transcendence.

Right after this Full Moon (literally, an hour later) at 8:32 AM ET, we have another major planetary shift.

Saturn will enter Pisces.

Saturn has spent the last two-and-a-half years in Aquarius, and this is a significant shift that we all feel on both the collective and personal levels.

Saturn is a social planet, the planet that rules over structure, rules, regulations, boundaries. Saturn delivers obstacles and lessons as he is the planet of time and karma.

Important to note that where Saturn is involved, what we reap is what we sow. If you work hard and authentically? You can expect at some point to revel in the fruits of your labor. If you cut corners and live by the seat of your pants? Do others dirty? Saturn doesn’t let you get away with it.

The karmic wheel is highly activated with Saturn, and you want to be on the right side if it. Work hard, and don’t be a jerk. Sounds so simple, doesn’t it?

Remember: this applies even more so to leaders, authority figures, governmental structures, the public…catch my drift? This can be a good thing, but it takes time. Key word for Saturn : time.

Later on in the month, 3/20 Aries season begins and it is the beginning of the Spring season in The Northern Hemisphere. The very next day, we have a New Moon in Aries…this is strong rebirth energy!

To close out March, on 3/23 PLUTO will enter Aquarius. This is an energy that will strongly color our collective and personal future destiny.
