Happy Moon-Day!

The vibe of this week feels like…a beating pulse and heat beneath the surface. Bzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Charged, electric, and emotional we feel, with highs and lows.

Positively, we are feeling this innovative air energy of Aquarius where the Sun, Mercury, Saturn & Jupiter are residing.

We think, we imagine, we dream and we implement. Beginning new projects and tying up loose ends on existing ones, is a common theme when the Sun is in Aquarius.

The Full Moon in Leo occurs Thursday 1/28 at 2:16pm est.

A Full Moon happens when the Sun is opposite the Moon.

This highlights the polarities (opposing forces) in our lives.

These polarities are of an emotional, physical and spiritual nature.  It can be one area or all three, and each Full Moon will feel different based on the sign and planetary aspects surrounding the Moon.

Awareness and emotion reach their peak and are heightened around Full Moons.  This is why we feel more edgy and anxious around these times, sometimes not even being able to sleep.

The Moon rules our subconscious, the raw emotions that lurk underneath the surface.

Everything comes to a head under this energy.  There is a tug of war between head and heart.

The Sun is in Aquarius (Air) while the Moon is in the opposite sign of Leo (Fire).

This Moon reminds us that there is a warrior in all of us.

Our deepest feelings are here, reflecting back at us off the light of the Moon. Hopes, dreams, possibility and aspirations….all coming up to the surface.

Venus (love) and Pluto (intensity and probing truth) are speaking to each other around this Full Moon in heart- centered Leo. Superficiality just will not do. You may find yourself confessing your deepest feelings, either to yourself or to other(s).

Ask yourself where are you holding back and why? Do not let your pride have you miss out on the beauty that certain situations/relationships have to offer.

We become hyper-aware of choices, decisions that need to be made, what may need to be released.

Warm, courageous, creative; this Moon invites us to go deep and acknowledge the fire within. Leo represents the heart, the passion inside of us and our creative expression. Owning and shining our own light through any darkness- Leo energy.

This is a powerful Full Moon.

It’s time to be bold, to be brave and to trust your heart. This is the sign of Leo.

Jupiter is sitting across the sky from this Full Moon. Jupiter is expansive, optimistic, he promotes abundance and growth. He is the spiritual messenger of truth and opportunity. The message here is that we must trust the bigger picture, a higher order and the divine….to believe in the good even when we cannot see it.

There is always something to be grateful for, let’s not lose sight of this.

There is some discomfort and perhaps jumpiness present this week, as the Full Moon also butts up against both Mars and Uranus. This produces sparks…..and yes this goes both ways especially when we are dealing with fixed energy….Leo (Moon), Aquarius (Sun), Mars & Uranus (Taurus). They want what they want…and sparring can be present! This is where we can feel/see all this tension.

Take some time for quiet reflection under the energy and light of this Full Moon. Think about what you would like to release…what you would like more of in your life.

We are at the precipice of instant manifestation and big changes…in all ways!
