7/22 Leo season begins..Happy Birthday to all of our Leo souls, it is your season!

No wonder Leo’s tend to attract attention wherever they go, they are the center of it all just like their ruler 🌞.

Leo is a fixed fire sign, ruled by the Sun. As a fixed sign, they are loyal and committed to what they stand for. They carry things through, they stand firm in their position.

This Fire sign is passionate, courageous and very heart-centered as Leo is the sign that rules the heart, after all! If Leo loves you? They love you with all they have…if Leo doesn’t like you? Well….they dislike you with all they have!

The shadow side of this sign is that they can be too proud, stubborn, even quite arrogant at times.

Remember: no two Leo’s are the same as we must take the WHOLE birth chart into consideration, but overall, all Leo’s will embody some textbook traits.

While under Leo energy, collectively we seek to get out and some fun. A typical time of year for vacation and taking time off for many is during Leo season as it is bright, hot and filled with positive energy! This Leo season should feel no different, but we must harness and work with the energy to benefit the most because well, there is a lot going on!

Friday July 23rd 10:37PM EST, we have a Full Moon at 1° of Aquarius. This is the first of two Full Moons around the Aquarius/Leo axis, emphasizing the significance of this energy.

A Full Moon happens when the Sun is opposite the Moon.

This highlights the polarities (opposing forces) in our lives.

These polarities are of an emotional, physical and spiritual nature.  It can be one area or all three, and each Full Moon will feel different based on the sign and planetary aspects surrounding the Moon.

Awareness and emotion reach their peak and are heightened around Full Moons.  This is why we feel more edgy and anxious around these times, sometimes not even being able to sleep.

The Moon rules our subconscious, the raw emotions that lurk underneath the surface.

Everything comes to a head under this energy.  There is a tug of war between head(Aquarius) and heart (Leo).

The Sun is in the sign of Leo (Fire) while the Moon sits opposite the sky in the sign of Aquarius (Air).

*The next Aquarius Full Moon will close out Leo season on 8/22. It is important to truly pay attention to what is going on for you at this time especially when it comes to your emotional world and your own healing, emotionally, physically and most important, spiritually. Your spirit, your soul, will be illuminating a lot for you over these next six weeks so you may want to keep a calendar, a journal so that you can make the most of these insights into your deepest self.

Nestled between Saturn and Pluto, this Full Moon energy is illuminating our work out in the world, and just as much, it is focusing on all of the inner work we have been doing. Let’s face it: we have all had to make adjustments!

Sitting with asteroid Chariklo, there is a strong spiritual healing element to this Full Moon. This is time where working with Crystals, Reiki Sessions, Sound Baths etc….all have that much more of a profound and positive effect on us.
