Tuesday 5/7, 11:22 PM EST we have our exalted New Moon at 18° of Taurus.
A New Moon marks the beginning of the lunar cycle, the movement of the moon through its different phases.
New Moons are a time of new beginnings. The beginning of a new cycle, a time to initiate plans and projects, get things moving, a fresh start.
Abundance surrounds this energy.
New Moons are auspicious times filled with promise and opportunity.
The Sun aligns with the Moon in the sky when it’s a New Moon meaning, that they are in the same sign –Taurus.
Taurus is the sign of fixed earth, the sustainer; ready to work hard to build something of substance. This is the sign represented by the Bull, a symbol of tremendous strength, determination and resilience.
Let it be said that we are officially out of Eclipse season, so the lunar air feels much less turbulent.
At this New Moon, we have planet Venus in Taurus, and Mars in Aries. This is lovely as both of these planets are in their power placements. The divine feminine (Venus) and the divine masculine (Mars), are in harmony, supporting us all in aligning with our emotions, desires and drive. Remember: we all hold both masculine and feminine energies within.
Planets Jupiter and Uranus are still dancing together in the skies, seeking to bless us all in the Taurus area of our chart, of our lives. This is energy that is built to last! Refer to this Jupiter/Uranus reading for more insights, as this energy will carry us over the next two decades.
All of this to say: if there were one New Moon to really take advantage of…it’s this one! The Moon is exalted in Taurus, one of her most comfortable homes, (signs) to occupy.
